Iāve been meaning to make this episode forever because I get sooo many questions about my pregnancy, while I was pregnant, postpartum, and honestly just from sharing my life online. So today weāre doing it: all things pregnancy with my first baby, Elsie.
Iām taking you all the way back to the beginning, because if youāve followed me for a while, you know I was not the āIāve always dreamed of being a momā girl. Like⦠I dreaded babysitting. š And then one day, it literally hit me out of nowhere: I want to have a baby.

Iām sharing whatās been on my heart as we head into a new year, and why my word for this year is consistency. For years, I set goals, got motivated, went āall inā⦠and then burned out or started over. What Iāve learned (the hard way) is that real change doesnāt come from intensity or motivation, it comes from repetition, discipline, and showing up consistently, even when itās boring or uncomfortable. You donāt need a perfect plan, you need simple, repeatable actions done consistently. My prayer is that this encourages you to take the pressure off, lean into discipline with grace, and trust that small daily decisions truly compound over time. Iād love to hear from you.
